In Nagar Kurnool District, students and teachers at Sri Saraswati Shishu Mandir School worked together to make clay Ganesha idols. The students brought clay from their homes, and with help from their teachers, they shaped the clay into beautiful Ganesha idols right at school.
Later in the evening, the school’s principal, Prasannalakshmi, along with the teachers, handed out these clay idols to the students’ parents. The parents were thrilled to see their children taking part in making these eco-friendly idols. They felt it was a special and joyful experience.
The teachers also talked to the students about why it’s important to worship eco-friendly clay Ganeshas. They explained that using clay idols helps protect the environment. Principal Prasannalakshmi mentioned that the school does this activity every year before Vinayaka Chavithi. She said it’s a way to teach students about caring for the environment from a young age. She encouraged everyone to worship clay Ganeshas to help protect nature.
The event was attended by parents, students, and school staff, making it a memorable day for everyone involved.
