Hyderabad: On October 6, 2025, Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager of South Central Railway (SCR), reviewed train safety measures in all six divisions. The meeting took place at Rail Nilayam in Secunderabad. It was attended by Additional General Manager Satya Prakash, key department heads, and divisional railway managers from Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, and Nanded via video call.
Srivastava stressed the importance of adhering to safety standards, especially during track work, shunting, and signaling. He instructed supervisors to keep a close watch on field activities and fix any safety issues immediately.
The review also looked at the progress of safety initiatives aimed at improving track stability, operational efficiency, and signal trustworthiness. Officials were told to stay alert and quickly address any problems to ensure smooth and safe train operations throughout the zone.
