Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, the General Manager of South Central Railway (SCR), honored 11 employees with the “Employee of the Month” safety awards for July 2025. This event took place during a safety review meeting at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad.
The awards recognize staff who have shown exceptional alertness in preventing unsafe situations. Award recipients included Loco Pilots, Gatemen, and Train Managers from the Hyderabad (2), Guntur (4), Vijayawada (4), and Guntakal (1) divisions. Srivastava praised the awardees, emphasizing that their commitment and vigilance serve as an example for others to maintain safe train operations.
While discussing safety protocols for station redevelopment under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme, Srivastava urged Divisional Railway Managers to adhere strictly to safety rules, ensuring passenger safety. He advised officials to stay alert during the monsoon season and implement necessary safety measures, especially during construction activities involving heavy vehicles and cranes.
On track safety, Srivastava directed officials to develop an action plan to effectively use track machines and tower cars. This plan aims to enhance safety and maintain punctuality.
