SFI calls on government to delay Group-2 exams

SFI calls on government to delay Group-2 exams
Text Size: 100%

The Students Federation of India (SFI) in Hyderabad is asking the state government to delay the Group-2 exams. They are concerned because the DSC exams are already scheduled from July 18 to August 5, and the Group-2 exams are set for August 7. This means many students will have to take both tests.

In recent weeks, there have been protests by unemployed individuals demanding that the Group-2 and DSC exams in Telangana be postponed. The SFI believes that punishing and detaining these individuals is not the right solution. They point out that when the previous government added 63 more posts in the Group-1 notification, they still held the exam. The SFI thinks that the same should be done for Group-2 and Group-3 exams, and the arrested individuals should be released.

The SFI member emphasized the need for more job opportunities in Group-2 and Group-3 exams. They do not believe that punishing unemployed individuals is fair, and think that increasing job openings would be a better solution for everyone.
