    Nizamabad: On Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah received a warm reception upon his arrival in Nizamabad city. He landed at the Nizamabad Integrated District Offices Complex (New Collectorate) at 2:15 pm via special helicopter.

    Senior officials and public representatives greeted him warmly at the helipad with bouquets in hand.

    Accompanying Amit Shah was Union Minister Kishan Reddy. Upon landing, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, MP Arvind, Urban MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana, Turmeric Board Chairman Palle Gangareddy, BJP leader K Laxman, Collector T Vinay Krishna Reddy, and Police Commissioner Sai Chaitanya extended a grand welcome.

    Under tight security, Shah traveled in a special convoy to Vinayak Nagar. There, he officially opened the new National Turmeric Board office with much celebration.

    Following this, he headed to Baswa Garden for the inaugural meeting of the Turmeric Board, where he addressed turmeric farmers and board members.

    The event also saw participation from District In-charge Minister Dhanasari Anasuya, State Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, Nizamabad Rural MLA Bhupathi Reddy, State Seed Development Corporation Chairman Anvesh Reddy, Cooperative Union Limited Chairman Manala Mohan Reddy, Additional Collector Kiran Kumar, and several turmeric board officials and farmers.
