Gadwal: On Wednesday, the SHE Team organized an awareness program at Zilla Parishad High School in Manopad. This event was held under the direction of Jogulamba Gadwal Superintendent of Police Sri T. Srinivasa Rao, IPS. Sub-Inspector Tejaswini, who leads the SHE Team, conducted the session with team members.
The program aimed to inform girl students about the role of SHE Teams in safeguarding women and girls. They discussed key subjects such as:
- What SHE Teams do
- Understanding “Good Touch” vs. “Bad Touch”
- Issues like Eve-Teasing and Ragging
- Different forms of Harassment
- Dangers of Online Trapping via Instagram and chat apps
Students learned to recognize inappropriate behavior and respond confidently. They were urged to report harassment incidents at schools, colleges, bus stops, or any public places without fear.

The session also advised on safety measures for women and girls in various situations.
The event saw attendance from the school’s Headmaster Mr. Shiva Prasad, SHE Team members Seshanna, Divyavani, and Hanmanthu, along with many teachers and students. Participants valued the interactive session and felt encouraged to seek help from law enforcement if necessary.
