Uday Shankar, the father of Indian badminton player Parupalli Kashyap, has joined the Shiv Sena Party. This decision came after an invitation from Sinkaru Shivaji, the State president of the Shiv Sena (Shinde Group). Uday Shankar is also the uncle of Indian badminton player Saina Nehwal.
Uday Shankar stated that he joined the Shiv Sena party with the intention of serving the people. Sinkaru Shivaji aims to make the Shiv Sena party a strong force in Telangana State. He wants to fight against the hardships that people are facing. He expressed concerns about the increasing problems in the state and how the education system is being destroyed by the government.
During the announcement, State leaders of Yuva Sena such as Jampula Sai, Muni Kumar, Maruti Vishnu, Rahul, and others were also present.
