Stay Alert: Beware of WhatsApp Pink Scam

Odisha Police have warned people not to click on any “WhatsApp Pink” links they receive on their phones. Criminals are using this new method of cyber crime to send messages to WhatsApp users, asking them to download a “WhatsApp Pink” link that promises additional features. However, if users fall for this scam and download the link, the sender of the message can access their data and cause financial losses. The police advise people to simply delete these messages. The criminals use this pink-themed version of WhatsApp to steal personal information and data from unsuspecting users.
