SRM Institute of Science and Technology in Kattankulathur is getting a 5G laboratory, according to Union Minister for Railways and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw. This laboratory will allow students to come up with innovative solutions to various problems affecting the world. The minister spoke about the exciting opportunities that today’s youth are entering into, thanks to the encouragement of venture capitalists and the Central government’s support for a startup culture. SRM Institute of Science and Technology is one such institution that is creating opportunities for young people.
During the 19th convocation of the institute, Vaishnaw handed out degrees to Ph.D. scholars and students who won medals. A total of 7,683 women and men received their degrees, including those from the faculties of engineering and technology, science and humanities, medicine and health sciences, and management.
Present at the event were D. P Sathyanarayanan, Pro-Chancellor (Academics), and Dr. T R Paarivendhar, MP, Founder and Chancellor of SRM Group of Institutions.
