Sid’s Farm, a well-known direct-to-consumer (D2C) dairy brand, successfully held its first-ever Hyderabad Health Run at the Gachibowli Practice Stadium. The event attracted more than 2,000 people of all ages, making it a day focused on fitness, community, and well-being.
Participants could choose from three running categories: the 10K Timed Run, the 5K Timed Run, and the 2K Non-Timed Run. These options catered to different fitness levels, allowing everyone from families and kids to serious runners to participate. The event was both competitive and fun, with people from all walks of life coming together to support health and wellness.
Dr. Kishore Indukuri, Founder and Managing Director of Sid’s Farm, expressed his excitement about the event. Seeing so many people come together for the Hyderabad Health Run has been truly inspiring.”
The 10K race saw Prem Chand and Nelisiwe Gcinile Magongo win in the 18 to 40 age group, finishing with times of 32:46 and 45:32, respectively. In the 5K race, Kvb Reddy finished first with a time of 19:57, and Pinki Gupta led the women with a time of 27:06. The 2K race had wide participation across age groups. Many other runners performed notably, including Vijay Thakur, Ravi Kumar, Ujjwal Mahato, Meghana Bhupathiraju, and Aafiya Hamza. All participants received a medal, T-shirt, goodie bag, certificate, and a healthy breakfast as a reward for their efforts.
Several distinguished guests attended the event, including Dr. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy from TSIIC, Sita Pallacholla, CEO of WE Hub, and Srinivas Rao Mahankali (MSR), CEO of T-Hub. Their presence highlighted the importance of fitness and the collaboration between startups and health initiatives.
Sid’s Farm partnered with organizations like T-Hub, WE Hub, and BIA Brands, which provided snacks and coffee for the event. RED. Health was also present to offer medical support, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.
