The government of Hyderabad has appointed a new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) for Singareni. This decision was made because the tenure of the previous CMD, N Sridhar, had ended. Sridhar has been instructed to report to the General Administration Department (GAD).
The new CMD is Balram Naik, who is currently working as the Finance Director of Singareni. Naik is an IRS officer and is responsible for finance and welfare. In addition to these responsibilities, Naik will also take on the role of CMD.
