Hyderabad: This Dasara festive season brings good news for job seekers. The newly-established Young India Skills University is set to begin offering courses in October. The university aims to provide students with skill development opportunities and guarantee jobs in various fields.

Officials have announced that the university will initially offer two short-term courses in logistics. These courses are titled “Warehouse Executive” and “Key Consignor Executive.” The Logistics Sector Skill Council is supporting the management of these programs.

Additionally, the university will introduce a course called FINE (Finishing Skills in Nursing Excellence) to provide better employment opportunities for nurses. This course will be offered in association with Apollo Medskills Limited.

An apprenticeship course named “Dr. Reddy’s Pharma Associate” will also be launched. This six-month course will be conducted in collaboration with Dr. Reddy’s Labs.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has already laid the foundation stone for the university buildings, which will be constructed in a 57-acre area in Future City, Hyderabad. However, for now, classes will temporarily take place at the Engineering Staff College in Gachibowli. Arrangements have been made to ensure classes can begin smoothly this year.
