SLBC tunnel roof collapses in Nagarkurnool, KTR blames government.

An accident occurred in the SLBC tunnel near Domalapenta in Nagarkurnool district, leading to a roof collapse. The incident happened at around 8:30 am on Saturday at the 14-kilometre mark on the left side of the tunnel.

At the time of the collapse, 50 workers were inside the tunnel. Fortunately, 43 of them managed to escape safely. However, seven workers remain trapped, including Gurjeet Singh, Sanneet Singh, Manoj Rubena, Sandeep, Santosh, Srinivasulu, and Jatka Hiran.

Rescue teams have successfully rescued three of the trapped workers. They have been taken to Genco Hospital in Srisailam for treatment. Efforts are still ongoing to rescue the remaining four workers, and their families are anxiously waiting for updates.

Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy is present at the site, overseeing the rescue operations and ensuring that the necessary measures are taken.

Meanwhile, BRS working president K. Taraka Rama Rao criticized the Congress government, blaming them for the incident. He also urged authorities to rescue the trapped workers as soon as possible.
