SP organizes an educational session for law enforcement on the latest criminal laws of 2023

The Government of India has introduced new Criminal Laws-2023 to speed up investigations and ensure quick justice for victims. It is important for District SP and all police personnel to understand these new laws. Shri T. Srinivasa Rao has advised officers and staff to familiarize themselves with the changes to improve efficiency in investigations and trials.

The awareness program will cover an overview of Criminal Laws-2023, investigation procedures, trial procedures, and roles and responsibilities. This initiative aims to equip police officers with the necessary skills and knowledge to apply the new laws effectively.

The session was attended by various police officers and staff, highlighting key points such as an introduction to Criminal Laws-2023, investigation procedures, trial procedures, roles and responsibilities, and benefits of the new laws. Sri Ramulu emphasized the importance of adapting to the new laws for more efficient policing.

Training classes have already been conducted, with orientation classes by legal experts when necessary. It is essential to register cases according to the new sections and learn them thoroughly. The focus is on speeding up the process of registration, punishment imposition, and investigation methods.

Police personnel from different stations in the district, including Gadwal, Alampur, Shanti Nagar, attended the session.
