Gadwal: A new opportunity is being offered to help unemployed and underprivileged people improve their lives. The government has launched the Rajiv Yuva Vikas Scheme, which supports people from SC, ST, BC, EBC, and EWS communities. Special attention is being given to persons with disabilities and single women. Under this scheme, 5% of the benefits are reserved for people with disabilities, and 25% are reserved for single women.
District Women and Child Welfare Officer, Ms. Sunanda, shared details about the program. People between the ages of 21 and 55 can apply. For those applying in agriculture or related fields, the age limit is extended to 60 years. To qualify, the applicant’s yearly income should not be more than ₹1.5 lakhs in rural areas and ₹2 lakhs in urban areas. Also, only one person per family can apply.
Ms. Sunanda explained that eligible persons with disabilities and single women must apply online by April 14, 2025. The website to apply is https.tsobmms.cgg.gov.in. Applicants will need to upload the following documents:
– Aadhaar Card
– Ration Card
– Income Certificate
– Caste Certificate
– Driving License (for transport-related schemes)
– Pattadar Passbook (for agriculture-related schemes)
– Residence Proof
– Widow/Single Woman Certificate
– Passport-size Photos
After filling out the application and attaching the documents, applicants should submit them at the MPDO office if they live in a village, or at the Municipal Office if they live in a town or city.
Ms. Sunanda encouraged all eligible people—especially single women and those with disabilities—to make the most of this scheme to improve their financial situation with the help of the government.
