Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of Hyderabad has introduced a new strategy called ‘SPEED’ to accelerate the completion of his 19 major projects. The ‘SPEED’ initiative stands for Smart Proactive Efficient and Effective Delivery.

Among these 19 projects, some of the most significant include the development of the Musi Riverfront, the revamping of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), and the expansion of the Metro Rail system. The Chief Minister is determined to keep these projects on track and will closely monitor their progress. He plans to review the updates monthly with top officials from the relevant departments.

A senior official mentioned that the CM has set specific deadlines for each project, indicating that they will be executed in a mission mode. The State Planning Department is responsible for overseeing the progress of these works. To assist in this, the department will create a special online portal to track the daily progress of each project.
