    Nagar Kurnool: As part of the Devi Sharanna Navaratri celebrations, a special Durga Puja was held on Thursday in Manganoor village, located in Bijnapalli Mandal. The event was organized by the Sri Mata Youth group.

    The village priests, Rajagopal Sharma and Achalayya, explained that a local couple, Jalam Tirupathi and Balamma, performed special pujas to Durga Devi. On this first day of the celebrations, the goddess was worshiped in the form of Bala Tripura Sundari.

    After the puja, the food offering, known as naivedyam, was distributed to the devotees. Many villagers participated in the event, including Rachayya, Katika Naresh, members of the Sri Mata Youth Committee, women devotees, and children.
