Mahabubnagar: On Sunday, MP DK Aruna opened the new main gate of the Sri Ranganayaka Swamy temple near Mulamallupu in Devarakadra mandal. Kanduri Raghupathi Sagar built this gate in honor of his late parents, Kanduri Venkataiah and Kisthamma, from Venkatayapalli village.
After the ceremony, DK Aruna visited the temple on Uragutta hill in Venkatayapalli and performed special prayers. The gate cost Rs 24 lakh, fully covered by Roja Raghupathi Sagar. In recognition of this generous act, DK Aruna honored Raghupathi Sagar and his family with shawls.
Villagers took this opportunity to request the MP’s help for more temple development projects.
BJP leaders such as Dokur Pawan Kumar Reddy, Konda Prashanth Reddy, temple chairman Bangari Narasimha Sagar, and others like Nammigari Balaraj, Kanduri Ashok, Kummari Krishnayya, Nammigari Narasimha, Yadagiri, Prabhakar, Ram Anjaneyulu, Nakka Raghu, along with temple priest Paramesh Swamy and local devotees, also attended the event.
