Hyderabad: D Sridhar Babu, the State IT and Industries Minister, is now on the prestigious “India’s 100 Most Influential People in AI – 2025” list by Analytics India Magazine.
This annual list highlights leaders and innovators who are transforming India’s AI scene. Names are listed alphabetically by category, not ranked.
In the Policy Makers group, Sridhar Babu stands with key figures like Aakrit Vaish, Advisor of IndiaAI Mission; Abhishek Singh, CEO of IndiaAI Mission & DG of NIC; Amitabh Kant, former CEO of NITI Aayog; Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister for Electronics & IT; and Debjani Ghosh, former NASSCOM President.
Under Sridhar Babu’s guidance, Telangana has introduced an AI-Powered Strategy & Roadmap for responsible AI use. The government also launched the Telangana Data Exchange for secure data sharing, aiming for 100 Global Capability Centres (GCCs) by 2025-26 to boost the state’s AI ecosystem.
Sridhar Babu expressed, “This honor reflects Telangana’s commitment to using AI for inclusive growth and improving lives. We aim for a future where innovation and equity go hand in hand, benefiting every citizen.”
