On Monday, Excise Minister Dr V. Srinivas Goud laid the foundation stone for a bridge that will connect Naginonipally to Buddharam in Hanwada mandal in Mahbubnagar district. During the ceremony, the Minister emphasized that the State government is committed to providing basic amenities such as roads, drains, drinking water, and 24-hour power to the people. Telangana is setting an example for other states in the country by prioritizing sectors like healthcare and education of the poor. The government has taken many initiatives to provide free healthcare services to the public in government hospitals and has set up hundreds of Gurukula residential schools to provide good quality education to students of SCs, STs, minorities, and backward class students. The Minister also noted that the government’s efforts have resulted in well-maintained roads in rural and urban areas, which has enabled smooth and accident-free transportation. The bridge over a rivulet connecting Naginonipalli to Buddharam will cost an estimated Rs 49 lakh. The Minister urged the support and cooperation of people and local leaders to continue developing infrastructure in villages and rural towns. The ceremony was attended by MPP Balaraju, MPDO Dhanunjaya, local public representatives, and officials.
