Today, on April 24, 2023, the prices for petrol and diesel have remained the same. The price of petrol in Delhi is Rs. 96.72 per litre and diesel is Rs. 89.62 per litre. In Hyderabad, petrol costs Rs. 109.66 per litre and diesel is priced at Rs. 97.82 per litre. Chennai’s petrol price is Rs. 102.65 per litre and diesel costs Rs. 94.24 per litre. Mumbai’s petrol price is Rs. 106.31 per litre and diesel is priced at Rs. 97,28 per litre. Bangalore’s petrol costs Rs. 101.94 per litre and diesel is priced at Rs. 87.89 per litre.

India depends on crude oil imports for petrol and diesel, so crude oil prices can affect the cost of fuel. However, other factors like demand, taxes imposed by the government, the value of the rupee compared to the dollar, and refinery concepts can also impact fuel prices.
