Hyderabad: Global companies are keen to invest in Telangana. The state’s Industrial Promotion Cabinet Sub-Committee met on Tuesday and approved three significant projects. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka announced approvals for JSW UAV Limited, Toshiba Transmission and Distribution System, and Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Company. These ventures will bring in Rs 3,745 crore in investments and create 1,518 jobs.
Officials outlined the investment and job details. The Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages plant will invest Rs 2,398 crore and employ 600 people. JSW UAV Limited is set to invest Rs 785 crore, creating 364 jobs. Toshiba Transmission and Distribution System will contribute Rs 562 crore and offer 554 jobs.
Vikramarka highlighted that companies like Coca-Cola will boost local agriculture. The beverage industry needs large amounts of mangoes, oranges, and other crops. This demand will increase income for farmers in the state. The committee also reviewed agreements with companies from Davos and other nations interested in investing in Telangana.
