Hyderabad: During the Bonalu festival at Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Temple in Secunderabad, Hyderabad, City Police Commissioner CV Anand assured that all necessary safety measures are in place for visitors. He mentioned the strong security setup, which includes CCTV cameras, dedicated crime squads, and SHE Teams. These resources are positioned to prevent incidents involving chain snatching, pickpocketing, and harassment.
The Commissioner and senior officers also paid their respects to the Goddess. After their visit, they carefully inspected the temple area to ensure the queue lines are organized, allowing devotees a comfortable experience.
CV Anand noted that a large number of devotees, in the lakhs, are expected to visit the temple and perform special prayers during the Bonalu celebrations. He stressed that thorough preparations ensure a smooth visit for everyone attending the festival.
