Hyderabad: Students at the University of Hyderabad (HCU) have been protesting for four days in a row. They are asking the government to stop a planned land auction near the university.

Because of the ongoing protests, the police have taken serious steps to control the situation. The Hyderabad Range Inspector General, Satyanarayana, has been asked to visit the university and review what is happening.

A large number of police officers have been stationed near the HCU campus to ensure peace and prevent any trouble.

Students and activists say that selling the land would harm the university’s reputation and could negatively affect students in the future. They have promised to continue protesting until the land auction is cancelled.
