    State Education Commission Chairman Visits Basara IIIT, Emphasizes Quality Education and Facilities

    State Education Commission Chairman Akunuri Murali has called on officials to ensure quality education and better facilities for students at Basara IIIT. During his visit on Thursday, he interacted with students and staff, discussing challenges in the education system and student welfare. He also gathered feedback and suggestions from students to address their needs.

    Chairman Murali stressed the importance of providing improved accommodation and daily meals as per the menu. He also highlighted the need for better examination management, a conducive campus environment, high teaching standards, and the use of advanced technology in education. He encouraged students to study diligently and aim for success in life.

    During his campus inspection, Murali visited the kitchen, classrooms, and the girls’ dormitory. He assessed food quality, hygiene, and safety standards in the kitchen and suggested improvements in classroom facilities, including furniture, teaching materials, and technical resources. He also recommended enhancing recreational amenities like music rooms, gyms, and badminton courts, as well as strengthening security measures, such as CCTV surveillance and fresh water supply. Cleanliness was emphasized as a priority for staff.

    Visits to Government Schools and Emphasis on Student Welfare

    The Chairman also visited Bidrelli Government School in Basara mandal, where he had lunch with the students. Meanwhile, District Collector Abhilasha Abhinav inspected the Zilla Parishad High School and Minority Welfare dormitories in Mudhol mandal, evaluating the facilities provided to students.

    Murali reiterated the importance of offering quality education and nutritious meals to all students in government institutions. He reviewed the number of students and meal details, emphasizing that meals should always adhere to the prescribed menu. He directed officials to use quality ingredients and maintain cleanliness in and around the canteens.

    Later, Murali visited Narsapur KGBV (Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya) and urged officials to ensure that students receive hygienic, tasty food.

    Officials and Staff Participate in Discussions

    Several officials accompanied the Chairman during his visits, including Vidyalaya Vice-Chancellor Professor Govardhan, former IFT Director Muralidharshan, District Education Officer P. Rama Rao, and Tribal Welfare Department officials Ambaji, Mohan Singh, and Srinivas. Other participants included Mudhol mandal special officer Srikanth Reddy, Tehsildars Pawan Chandra and Srikanth, along with staff and supervisors.

    The Chairman’s visit highlighted the government’s commitment to improving the educational experience and overall well-being of students in both universities and government schools.
