Good news for students in Hyderabad! The Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited has announced that they will now be providing a student pass facility on the Metro. This new facility will be available starting from July 1st. With the student pass, students will be able to travel for 30 trips, but only be charged for 20 trips.
The student pass will be in the form of a smart card and can be used for 30 rides per month. The pass will be valid for 9 months, from July 1st, 2023 to March 31st, 2024.
To get the metro pass, students can simply show their college ID card at select stations including JNTU, SR Nagar, Ameerpet, Victoria Memorial, and Dilsukh Nagar. This information was shared by the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited on Twitter on Saturday.
