Sphoorthy Engineering College recently held an exciting literary event called “Lingua Fiesta”, which welcomed students from 12 leading colleges in Hyderabad. The festival created a platform for young minds to express their talent in language and communication.
The event featured a variety of fun and challenging competitions. Students took part in Debate, Turn Coat, Spell Bee, Poetry Recitation, and Slogan Writing. Each activity encouraged creativity, quick thinking, and strong language skills.
Special guests added to the event’s prestige. Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the college secretary, and Dr. T.V. Rajaiah, the chief guest, praised the festival and its focus on student development.
One of the highlights of the day was the launch of a unique magazine called Abhiyanta, created by the Freshman Department. It featured original pieces written by both students and faculty members, showcasing the campus’s literary talent.
The English Department organized the event and made sure it was both educational and enjoyable. Students not only gained confidence but also walked away with cash prizes for their outstanding performances.
