    In Hyderabad, during the month of Ramzan, people gather in restaurants like Hotel Nayaab and Iqbal Hotel to enjoy a pre-dawn meal called ‘Sehri’. There are different types of dishes available, including malai paya, kebabs, warqi parata, khichdi khatta, and kheema or gurda.

    As the month of fasting nears its end, Muslims flock to restaurants for Sehri after special prayers. Popular hotels and restaurants like Lucky Group of Hotels, Pista House, and Shadab offer a variety of dishes for this special meal. People have shown a lot of interest in having Sehri meals outside of their homes.

    Hyderabad is known for its delicious cuisine, with dishes like khichdi-khatta, talawa gosht, and bheja being popular during Ramzan. Restaurants also offer combos and buffets, as well as special platters like sehri thali and bahubali thali for food lovers.

    Hotels and restaurants are now offering ‘Sehri-special’ menus between 2:30 am to 4:30 am. People eagerly wait in long queues to enjoy dishes like khichdi-khatta, kheema, and chicken curry. Families are also seen thronging eateries to enjoy these meals before 3 am.
