Finance Minister T Harish Rao expressed his opinion that the President of India should have inaugurated the Parliament building since the President is elected by public representatives from all over India. He also questioned why the Parliament building wasn’t named after BR Ambedkar, as they had requested.

Before a press conference, the Minister had a review meeting on the upcoming Telangana Formation Day Decennial celebrations. He highlighted the importance of the formation of Telangana State and the progress achieved in the last nine years since its inception. He asked people to participate in the celebrations in large numbers.
