The ‘Chalo Batasingaram’ program by BJP leaders created tension in Hyderabad on Thursday. The police stopped and detained BJP leaders Kishan Reddy and BJP MLA Raghunandan Rao at the Shamshabad airport. They were taken to the BJP state office in Nampally. State Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav criticized the BJP leaders for making unnecessary comments about double bedroom houses. He said that if Union Minister Kishan Reddy comes, he will personally show him the houses.

Minister Talasani clarified that the Central government’s contribution to the construction of double bedroom houses is less than the state government’s. The state government spends Rs.8.65 lakh, while the Center provides only Rs.1.50 lakh. He alleged that the Central government has not yet given Rs.600 crores in relation to this. Talasani expressed his frustration with the Central government’s behavior and criticized the noise made by BJP leaders.

Talasani questioned whether it was necessary for Union Minister Kishan Reddy to sit on the road, and reminded that he had previously inaugurated double bedroom houses with the same Union Minister. Talasani also expressed his dissatisfaction with the BJP leaders for creating more traffic problems during heavy rain in Hyderabad.
