Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader, visited Chennai on Sunday. He spoke privately to state party members and suggested that a Tamil person should become Prime Minister in the future. He mentioned that this opportunity had been missed twice in the past and blamed the ruling DMK party.
Shah also encouraged the BJP members to work towards winning 20 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He emphasized the importance of strengthening booth committees to achieve this goal.
