On Teachers’ Day, 47 teachers in Telangana will receive the State Award from the government. These awards recognize their efforts to improve education by introducing new teaching methods and enhancing students’ listening skills.
The award recipients include professors and teachers from various universities and government degree colleges. They also include principals of government junior colleges, government junior lecturers, and teachers from government polytechnic colleges.
Some of the honored teachers are Dr. R Sudhakar Goud, Associate Professor in the Department of Geo-Informatics at Telangana University, Nizamabad, and Dr. N Kishore, Associate Professor of Microbiology at Palamuru University, Mahabubnagar. Others include Dr. R Sridhar, an Assistant Professor of Commerce, and Dr. M Anil Kumar, an Assistant Professor of Chemistry, both from Nagarjuna Government Degree College (A), Nalgonda.
The awards will be presented at Ravindra Bharathi on Thursday.
