A 26-year-old man named Mohd Irfan Ali has been sentenced to 16 days in jail by the Nampally Court in Hyderabad for misbehaving with a woman on the road. The incident occurred when the woman refused to get on his bike. She reported the incident to the police, who registered a case against Ali.
According to the victim’s statement, on August 11, she was walking home from the vegetable market when an unknown person on a bike stopped in front of her. The accused asked her to get on the bike, but she declined. In response, he hit her on the back and quickly left the scene.
The police have confirmed that the Nampally Special Metropolitan Magistrate has sentenced Mohd Irfan Ali to 16 days in prison for his actions.
