Heated Debate Marks the Third Day of Telangana Assembly Budget Meetings

The assembly budget meetings have entered their third day in Telangana, with a general discussion on the annual budget for 2024-25 taking center stage. The discussions are taking place in both the Telangana Assembly and the Council.

The session began with a heated debate between Congress and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) over budget allocations to various departments. Former minister Harish Rao criticized the Congress government, alleging their administration was a failure.

In his speech, Harish Rao raised issues related to liquor and state registrations, accusing the government of poor performance in these areas. Congress ministers and members responded robustly, countering his claims.
