The Government of Telangana has approved around 24,000 business proposals with a total investment of Rs 2.65 lakh crore in the past eight and a half years under the TS-iPASS Act. E Venkat Narsimha Reddy, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of TSIIC, shared this information at the inauguration of the HIPLEX International Plastic Expo 2023. He praised the organizers for hosting such a big expo and encouraged stakeholders in the plastic industry to partner with the government. He also suggested that exhibitors visit industrial parks in the city to see the developments firsthand.

Narsimha Reddy highlighted the significance of the TS iPass Act, which provides fast processing for licenses needed to set up industries. The first plastic park in the city is fully occupied, and TSIIC is ready to provide land for a second one. He urged TAAPMA, a trade body, to handle allocation issues to accommodate MSMEs.
