Party leaders say that while the Nirudyoga March is drawing crowds, it remains to be seen whether it will have the same impact as the PSY.
The BJP is now focusing on micro-level management to reach people at their doorsteps. They are organizing a month-long Maha Jana Sampark Abhiyan and street corner meetings to connect with voters. The party claims that it is improving in areas where it had little presence before, such as Khammam, where the Nirudyoga March drew a large crowd.
