    Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated handloom weavers across the state on National Handloom Day. He recognized the important role handloom has played in both India’s freedom struggle and the development of Telangana.

    Reddy stressed the need to revive handloom and called it a shared responsibility of all citizens to support this traditional craft. He assured weavers that the government is committed to helping the handloom industry through various initiatives. These include empowering women’s self-help groups and integrating support from different government departments.

    The Chief Minister’s message encourages collaboration between the government and communities. His goal is to preserve and enhance the legacy of handloom weaving in Telangana, celebrating the state’s rich textile heritage.
