Munugodu MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy made a surprise visit to a government school in Chandur Municipality on Tuesday. He wanted to check the quality of the midday meal provided to students.
During his visit, he looked at the rice cooked by women working for the meal scheme agency. He wanted to make sure the rice was of good quality.
He also checked the curries cooking on the stove. He asked if the right spices and other ingredients were being used.
After inspecting the meals, Rajagopal Reddy laid the foundation for several development projects in the municipality. He also planted saplings as part of an initiative to promote cleanliness and greenery.
