Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has launched the Sitarama Lift Project, a significant initiative aimed at providing better water access to the region.
The main event took place at Pusugudem in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. Here, the Chief Minister officially started the Pump House-2 of the Sitarama Uttiputa Scheme.
During the inauguration, water was released into the Rajiv Canal. This marks a crucial step in the project, which is designed to improve water supply for both farming and household needs.
Many important guests attended the event, including Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, and Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari. These leaders, along with other public representatives, showed their support for the project.
The Sitarama Lift Project is expected to greatly boost irrigation in the area. This will help local farmers by increasing agricultural productivity.
