The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) has achieved another significant milestone by recovering ₹45.21 crore for 6,303 victims of cyber fraud through a Lok Adalat held on June 20, 2026. This financial relief was made possible through the coordinated efforts of the Telangana State Legal Services Authority, banks, digital payment service providers, police commissionerates, and district police units across the state. The recovery represents a major success in the state’s ongoing battle against cybercrime and demonstrates the effectiveness of collaborative mechanisms in providing justice to fraud victims.

The Lok Adalat initiative has proven to be an effective platform for resolving cyber fraud cases and ensuring victims receive their money back. Through such sessions conducted across Telangana to date, a total of ₹445.4 crore has been successfully recovered and returned to 59,953 cyber crime victims. These figures underscore the scale of cyber fraud affecting residents of the state and highlight the critical role that coordinated law enforcement and judicial efforts play in addressing this growing menace.
