Telangana Higher Education Council has shared the results of the first phase of DOST 2025 seat allocations. From 89,572 students who registered, 60,436 received seats. Among them, 38,041 are girls and 22,395 are boys.
Commerce emerged as the top choice among students, followed by Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Arts. The majority, 58,575 students, chose to study in English medium.
Top scorer Vasant Kumar achieved 99.60% and secured a place in Commerce at Nizam College. Other high achievers were admitted to Life Sciences and Women’s University.
Students need to self-report and pay fees by June 6 to keep their seats. The second phase of allotment starts on May 30.
Telangana offers 805 degree colleges with a total of 3.7 lakh seats, but only 60,436 seats were filled in this initial phase. Seats are distributed among government, private, autonomous, and aided colleges.
