    The Telangana Congress is experiencing a flurry of political activity as TPCC President A Revanth Reddy announced the sale of applications for ticket aspirants. The party has set the price at Rs 10,000 for OC and BC community aspirants, while SC and ST leaders will need to pay Rs 25,000.

    The first person to purchase an application was Congress leader Manavatharoy, who submitted it to party leadership on Friday. He is aspiring to contest from the Sattupally assembly constituency in the SC category. Other Congress leaders, including B Ilaiah from Aliar assembly constituency, Juvvada Narsinga Rao from Korutla, Madhu from Gushmahal, and DR Mulai Naik from Mahbubabad, have also filed their applications.

    Revanth Reddy stated that the party has imposed certain conditions on ticket aspirants, including a declaration against dowry. Aspirants must accept all 17 conditions. After verifying their credentials, the party high command will finalize the names of the candidates in consultation with the Political Affairs Committee in Hyderabad.
