    Telangana Government Announces Loan Waivers for Farmers

    The Telangana government has taken a significant step to support farmers by announcing the disbursement of loan waivers under the fourth phase of its loan waiver scheme. As part of this initiative, ₹3,000 crore will be released today, benefiting 3 lakh farmers across the state. This decision is expected to bring much-needed relief to the farming community.

    The timing of this announcement coincides with the grand conclusion of the Palamuru Festival, an event celebrating the region’s agricultural achievements. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to attend the festival and address farmers and other stakeholders during a public meeting.

    The loan waiver scheme has been implemented in phases, reflecting the government’s commitment to easing the financial burdens on farmers. With today’s disbursement, the total number of farmers who have received the benefits of this scheme in Telangana is expected to surpass 3 million.
