Hyderabad: Telangana Feeling the Winter Chill

Telangana is starting to feel the effects of winter as temperatures gradually drop across the state. Among the districts, Adilabad has recorded the coldest temperature so far, with the mercury falling to a chilly 8.7°C.

Other districts are also experiencing cooler weather. Medak recorded 10.8°C, Patancheru 11°C, and Nizamabad 13.5°C. Hanumakonda has likewise seen a noticeable drop, with temperatures at 15°C. This steady decline marks the beginning of the winter season in the region.

Meteorologists explain that this drop in temperatures is due to the ongoing shift in weather patterns. They predict that the cooler weather will persist in the coming days, with the possibility of even colder nights as winter continues to settle in across Telangana.

Residents are being advised to prepare for the cold by using warm clothing and ensuring proper heating, especially in rural and hilly areas where temperatures could dip even further. There is also a chance of winter rains, which may bring additional cooling in the weeks ahead.

As the state transitions into winter, many are welcoming the relief from the sweltering heat of previous months. However, the question remains—are residents truly enjoying the colder weather, or are they finding it challenging to adapt to the sudden change?
