Telangana Governor Launches Aid Truck

Hyderabad: The Governor of Telangana, Jishnu Dev Varma, was deeply moved by the recent heavy rains and floods that caused significant damage in Tripura. He made an appeal to the Indian Red Cross Society, Telangana State Branch, asking them to provide relief materials to the families affected by the disaster.

Responding quickly to the Governor’s request, the Indian Red Cross Society, Telangana State Branch, led by Ajay Mishra, gathered essential relief materials for 1,000 families. These materials include baby food, clothing, mosquito nets, umbrellas, soaps, emergency medicine, and other necessities. The relief items are being transported to Tripura in a truck, which was officially flagged off by the Governor on Sunday from Raj Bhavan.

During the flag-off event, the Governor expressed his appreciation for the Society’s dedication to humanitarian service. He also thanked them for their timely efforts in helping those who are in need.
