The Telangana High Court has delayed the hearing of cases brought by former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and former minister Harish Rao. These cases challenge the findings of the Justice P.C. Ghosh Committee on the Kaleshwaram project.

On Friday, Advocate General Sudarshan Reddy outlined the government’s perspective on the commission’s report. The Chief Justice mentioned that any progress would wait until the report is discussed in the Assembly.

The court raised issues with the commission’s report being available online, calling it inappropriate and demanding its removal. It has given the government and the commission three weeks to respond, with a one-week window for others to reply.

No temporary orders were deemed necessary at this time. The Advocate General assured the court that actions would follow the Assembly’s discussion of the commission’s findings. The next hearing is set for five weeks from now.
