Summer holidays for schools across the state will begin on Thursday, April 24, 2025. All government, private, aided, and Gurukul schools will be closed during this time.
The summer vacation will last until June 11, 2025. Classes for the new academic year, 2025-26, will start on June 12, 2025.

On Wednesday, the 2024-25 academic year officially ended. Teachers met with parents to talk about how students performed during the year. Students were also given their progress cards during these meetings.
Education officials have clearly told schools not to hold any classes during the summer break. Schools have been warned to follow this rule strictly.
