Hyderabad is set to host a significant event on Saturday at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC). The Sports Department has organized a conclave to officially unveil the Telangana Sports Policy 2025.
The conclave aims to introduce this new sports policy to the sports community and encourage widespread involvement in its implementation. All necessary arrangements have been meticulously completed. Notable attendees include sports analyst Charu Sharma, former Olympians such as Pullela Gopichand, Gagan Narang, and Anju Bobby George. Representatives from various sports federations, associations, and leading sports journalists, including Vishwanathan and Sabha Nayak, will also be present.
These participants will engage in discussions and panels. The policy will focus on governance, long-term sports development, career opportunities, infrastructure growth, and creating a sports ecosystem statewide. Crafted over a year, the policy reflects Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s vision, with the Telangana Sports Authority playing a crucial role.
The state plans to sign agreements with global sports organizations like FIFA, top companies, and sports experts. This move aims to build sustainable partnerships for Telangana’s sports future. Shivasena Reddy, Chairman of the Sports Authority, highlighted the beginning of more national and international events under the Sports Authority. He praised the dedication of the sports department, state government support, and the Chief Minister’s commitment as vital to shaping the Telangana Sports Policy 2025. The conclave seeks to promote this policy across India, encourage broad participation, and gain national support for upcoming sports initiatives.
