Mahabubnagar: The head of the Telangana Council of Higher Education, Prof V Balakista Reddy, visited Dr Burgula Ramakrishna Rao Government Degree College in Jadcherla on Saturday. During his visit, he generously gave Rs 25,000 to the college.
This donation is intended to enhance the college’s botanical garden and support its green projects. Prof Reddy toured the campus and admired its eco-friendly efforts. He remarked that with additional work, the botanical garden could potentially achieve recognition in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Later, Prof Reddy stopped by the Government Polytechnic College in Mahabubnagar, which serves as a EAPCET Helpline Centre. He evaluated the certificate verification process and was pleased with the student-focused counseling arrangements.
