Hyderabad: The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) is teaming up with the NASSCOM / IT-ITeS Sector Skills Council to launch training programs in new and fast-growing technologies.
This partnership will be made official on Friday through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The goal is to offer skill development courses for both students and faculty in colleges and universities across Telangana.
These programs will focus on emerging tech fields, helping learners stay updated with industry demands. The initiative aims to improve job readiness and bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world tech skills.
Top officials from TGCHE, including Chairman Prof V Balakista Reddy, Vice-Chairman-I Prof E Purushotham, and Vice-Chairman-II Prof SK Mahmood, will be part of the MoU signing. They’ll be joined by the Vice-Chancellors of major universities like Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Mahatma Gandhi University, JNTU Hyderabad, and RGUKT.
Representatives from NASSCOM / IT-ITeS Sector Skills Council will also attend to formalize the collaboration.
This move is expected to strengthen the connection between higher education and the tech industry, giving students the tools they need to succeed in a competitive job market.
